Baier to be Recommended as New High School Principal

Cambridge City School District Superintendent Dan Coffman announced today his intentions to recommend Bob Baier as the next Cambridge High School principal at the May Board of Education meeting. 

The position was recently posted following the resignation of Jason Bunting on April 19, 2024, with the interview process already concluded. 

Baier currently serves as the assistant principal at the Cambridge Middle School and has more than 40 years of service in education. Baier previously served as assistant principal at Cambridge High School for the 2015-16 school year and into the 2016-17 school year before becoming principal in January of 2017. 

Baier previously served as principal at East Muskingum Middle School (2007-2015), assistant principal at East Muskingum Middle School (2005-2007) and Tri Valley High School (2001-2005). He was also a teacher at the Muskingum-Perry Career Center for 12 years. 
The May meeting of the Cambridge City School District Board of Education is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28 at 5 p.m. at Cambridge High School.
