Cambridge City School District continues to accept registration for all children in the district who will be starting Kindergarten next fall. If your child is age-eligible for kindergarten – five years old by August 1, 2024 – they must be registered by April 19, 2024.
Parents or guardians may also stop in at the Garfield Administrative Center between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to complete the online registration process. Staff members will be available to assist parents if help is needed.
In order to complete the FinalForms new student registration process, the Residential Parent or Legal Guardian of the child will need to:
- Have access to their valid personal email address.
- Set up a New Parent Account in Final Forms (directions are included), and
- Have copies or access to the following documents for your child:
- Official Birth Certificate
- Current Immunization Records
- Legal Custody Papers (if they exist)
- Parent’s Proof of Residence (a utility bill or lease)
Once the registration process is complete, parents need to schedule two follow-up appointments for each registered student:
- Kindergarten screening at the Garfield Administrative Center.
- Kindergarten Readiness Assessments on August 15 or 16 at the Cambridge Primary School.
