The students in the Cambridge City School District instrumental and vocal music programs have been working hard all school year and will be showing off their talents this spring. 

The High School concert band will be performing their Spring Concert on Monday, April 22 at Cambridge High School. This year, director Zachary Krnach is inviting alumni and local musicians to join the band for a collaborative song. 

If you are interested in joining the band for this performance, please fill out this Google Form with all necessary information. Sheet music and part assignments will be emailed out to each individual who completes the form. 

There will be two rehearsals, one on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 11 a.m. to noon and one on Monday, April 22 from 5:30 to 6 p.m. before the concert. Musicians need to attend at least one of the two rehearsals. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Krnach at [email protected]

The Middle School bands – the sixth-grade band and a combined seventh and eighth grade band -- will also be performing at this concert which begins at 7 p.m. 

The High School Choir will perform on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the High School. The Chamber Singers will perform with Muskingum University on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 7 p.m. at Brown Chapel. 

Fifth grade students at Cambridge Intermediate School will perform as part of the fifth-grade showcase at the Intermediate School on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. There will be student displays in the cafeteria during the evening. Team B will perform in the gym at 6:30 p.m. with Team A performing at 7 p.m. 

Second graders from the Primary School will be performing a program called “Singin’ in the Rainforest” on May 1 and May 2, 2024. Pod A, which includes students in Biddle’s, Castello’s, Hayes’ and Lanzer’s classrooms, will perform on May 1 at 6 p.m. at the High School. Pod B, which includes students in Wetherell’s, Frame’s, Miller’s, Tolbert’s, and Smith’s classrooms will perform on May 2 at 6 p.m. at the High School.
