Cambridge City School District will be hosting Kindergarten Registration on April 9 and 10 at the Garfield Administrative Center for all children in the district who will be starting school next fall. If your child is age-eligible for kindergarten – five years old by August 1, 2024 – we encourage you to attend this event.
Registration will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days at the Garfield Administrative Center, 518 S. 8th Street, in Cambridge.
During the registration event, parents will have the opportunity to establish a FinalForms parent account, and complete online registration forms for the 2024-2025 school year.
In order to complete the Final Forms new student registration process, the Residential Parent or Legal Guardian of the child will need to:
- Have access to their valid personal email address.
- Set up a New Parent Account in Final Forms (directions are attached), and
- Have copies or access to the following documents for your child:
- Official Birth Certificate
- Current Immunization Records
- Legal Custody Papers(if they exist)
- Parent’s Proof of Residence(a utility bill or lease)
Once the registration process is complete, parents will schedule two follow-up appointments for each registered student:
- Kindergarten screening on April 17, 18 or 19, at the Garfield Administrative Center.
- Kindergarten Readiness Assessments on August 15 or 16 at the Cambridge Primary School.
